Real Weddings - Sam’s Rose Wedding Flowers
Roses are an ever-popular flower for weddings. I was thrilled to be arranging these flowers for Sam’s wedding as it gave me the opportunity to make her some lovely bouquets and wedding ceremony arrangements.
Sam’s wedding was in the summer, but you will be able to get roses all year around through your florist.
Bridal Bouquets
Sam’s wedding flower bouquet featured white and pink roses together with freesias and hypericum berries. I created the bouquet in a posy arrangement, which is easy to carry. The colour theme of the wedding was pink and green and I particularly like how the lime green of the berries works against the pink roses.

To add an extra bit of sparkle to the bouquet, diamante pins have been added to the center of the roses and this coordinated with the diamante decorations on the bride’s dress.
Sam’s bridesmaid wore a lovely mint green dress and we choose a white bouquet to stand out against it (above image on right). Freesias and white roses were the main flowers in this bouquet. Both bouquets were surrounded with eucalyptus leaves.
Wedding Venue Decorations
The flowers for the wedding reception were created on the candelabra stands that we hire to brides. These look absolutely beautiful as the evening progresses and you are able to light the candles.

I decorated the candelabra in similar flowers to the bouquet and added delicate Singapore orchids. The finishing touch was to place the whole arrangement on a table mirror and sprinkle pink rose petals around the base.
The wedding cake flowers consisted of a rose and freesia cake topper, which coordinated with the colours of the cake decorator’s ribbons.

Sam was delighted with her flowers and commented:
“Amazement! They were all stunning, looked beautiful, made me very happy! Thank you”
